What if.....

Posted in General on Wed, May 24 2006 - 07:32 AM

What if life could start over and there was nothing wrong in your life.... What if the starting of your day was like being born anew and the morning was like rebirth with no sin or sorrow.... What if there was never a past to haunt you and all you see was Jesus face.... What if when you went to Jesus to talk about your sins, he said, "what sin? I...

I heard Satan talking and his voice was mine

Posted in General on Sat, May 20 2006 - 04:36 PM

The other morning I was spending time with Jesus. I have a tendency to talk to God in the shower sometimes like Carol has mentioned, too. I have had some really wonderful times with Him lately especially in experiencing some victory in my life on certain areas. I was talking to God about how I had read articles on power of the mind and we talked...

When God Said "No"

Posted in General on Fri, May 12 2006 - 04:48 AM

A few years back, my son and his wife and children were struggling very hard just to survive. I was helping them every chance that I could and it was taking a superhuman effort since there are a lot of them with very little in the way of resources at the time. My son had a job that didn't pay enough to live on and all doors had seemed blocked at...

Posted in General on Fri, May 12 2006 - 04:17 AM

This is the message I received from my daughter and I wanted to share in the praise the Lord with you all. I love to see how God answers our prayers in such a big way. I think this is a good Happy Mother's Day for us all. I wanted you all to know that at 4 PM this afternoon, Amycompleted her very last round of chemotherapy and waspronounced...

"I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make her boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together.I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. They looked unto him and were lightened: and ...

"A little leaven" revisited

Posted in General on Tue, May 02 2006 - 06:41 PM

"So does this mean that I should avoid everything that has some bit of immorality or sin in it? If the whole "picture" is not totally Christ-like, should I have nothing to do with it? That would mean I would have no contact with my family members, friends...even Christian friends (because even Christians are still sinners and have...

About: I am originally from Texas but moved here to Southern California about 18 years ago to be near family for help in raising my children. I worked as a nurse in a local hospital in this area until retiring a year ago. My children are all grown, but still are a joy and then there are the grandchildren who are a joy also. Now I am continuing to venture forth with God as my guide. I chose my screen name because my name comes from Hebrew and means "a bee". My middle name, Kay, comes from Greek and means "exultant or rejoicing". So to me my name means, "One who seeks only the sweet (the Lord) in life with rejoicing". I believe and claim scriptural motivations for my name in the verses of Ezekial 3:3, Proverbs 16:21, and Psalms 19 I had a personal ministry within nursing which God placed me in years ago and now am seeking where He is taking me. The scripture He gave me years ago regarding my ministry is in Isaiah 40:1 "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, Saith the Lord your God." Through His assistance, He works to do just that with the people I serve. My prayer is that all would come to have a supernatural experience with Jesus, to meet Him, accept Him into their lives and have a special relationship with Him forever. I just love a big family!!
