Don't stain your soul

I was outside in the rain today completing some of the tasks that are well positioned on the to-do list. As I went on frolicking from duty to duty I slowly noticed the slightly intrusive and inappropriate squish of my toes well wrapped in leather. It is a feeling that we all know to well. As it goes, I must have a hole in my shoe somewhere. Not ...

Smoothly Spinning World

A thought occurred to me...How do people with only one arm cut and eat their food? No seriously, what if you got a nice, juicy, thick, bbq'd to perfection (did I mention juicy?) tenderloin steak, how would you cut and eat it? I guess what I am trying to say is that our world has a lot of different people in it, and kindness and generosity will...

Been so busy lately with work and all and just plain crash and burning with sleep that I haven't had a chance to blog. At least I've gotten some good hours of sleep and feeling a bit more rested. Got the background paperwork to fill out for the job I applied for in the neighboring county. Man they want to know how many teeth I have in my head! I...

You can feel the freedom

A loosely bound ball of yarn perched on the shelf hiding a deep dark shadow, a static filled television set to channel 12 full of energy, the deepest green leaf gently spiraling through the air from an old wise tree, spicy pasta sauce splashed upon your dress shirt, some in your pocket some on your buttons, you can't help but feel it. 1...

Gone Home to God

Posted in Personal on Mon, May 17 2004 - 11:16 PM

It has been a pretty busy week. My uncle who had cancer for years went home to the Lord last Tuesday, with the wake/funeral being Friday/Saturday.  I did something I've never done before and called in sick for Friday night when I felt I really wasn't, even though I was heavy hearted about all of this. I wasn't able to get off that night to go ...

First dates are great because it gets your heart pumping. Pumping like a fish who landed on the shore, desperately trying to flop its way back to the water. You see, first dates are like that very fish. We make that unknown leap in hopes of reaching a place far beter than the one we are originate from.In first dates our hearts race, out of...

Magnetic Bunnies

"Who here likes magnets?" Asked the teacher to her wide eyed and bushy tailed school of rabbits. "I do!" exclaimed Jimmy, "I love em!" Suzy added. Do you like magnets? No, seriously, do you. It's like our whole universe is held together by magnetic forces, so why shouldn't we. I guess what I am trying to say is that I know I am alone on...

Welcome all to Fargo's World! This is where I am gonna post my thoughts, memories, and inventions. Feel free to comment and talk about me during your free time. Things may get choppy, but don't get me wrong, they will get going. I guess what I am trying to say is that although choppy may refer to different things like chopping a side of...

Pearls from the Little Old Lady

Well here I thought I was doing well blogging only to find that I missed my Tuesday entry. I'm trying to blog at least once a week but alas I've failed this time. Just so much of really nothing going on at home that I guess I just got pretty complacent. Work has been a bit busy. Had a 911 call the other early morning where ...
