No wonder it won an Hugo. And it costs $1, €0.80 http://www.fictionwise.com/

Hell is the absence of God, by Ted Chiang (available at www.fictionwise.com) A fantasy story about a world in which God has objectively been proven beyond any doubt (angels commonly visit earth, hell visible for everyone), yet there are still people who have no true faith in God (i.e. they don't love God), the protagonist being one of them....

| Comments (2)Dear Brothers and Sisters. May the Holy Spirit be your guide in life and mine as I write these lines which, I hope, will be for our benefit. Do you find following Jesus very hard? If you do, you are not any worse than me. We know we are not perfect so, instead of trying to be perfect we compromise... Somehow we get somewhere in the middle; between ...

http://www.mp-net.org/english/texts/russia/moscow/mos_art_joy_of_reunion.asp The story you can find in the link above is so powerful that it should be fiction, yet it is real... It is a story that remembers us that when in sin we must not heisitate to come back to the Father, no matter how big our sin is; Jesus is bigger, Amen?
