| Comments (2)The last few days have been a whirlwind of activity whether it be work or school or visitors in my home and I have loved it. We went through a time when I was home with a shoulder injury and due to the pain we were mainly just going to doctors. I have to say that time, exercise, and mainly prayers to God were the healer of my shoulder which it as...

| Comment (1)1:2 Consider it all joy, my brothers, when various trials light upon you, 3. know that the proving of your faith produces endurance. 4. And the endurance must attain its purpose, so that you would be mature and complete and not falling short in any way. 5. But if anyone of you lacks wisdom, he must continually ask from God, the ...

| Comment (1)I have been listening to a word by Rabbi Jonathan Cahn which has spoken of things that are happening here in the US at present that was something that was spurred on from 9/11/2001 and the teaching is linked to Isaiah 9:10. The same warnings are going on here to bring us back to God and to direct us to seek into God. Reading further in Isaiah 12 &...

| Comments (4)Well my last blog was just to share the Proverbs 31, but I wanted to share an experience that I had due partly to Praize, my sister, but much to the Lord. Due to meeting people here from all walks of life and all over the world, several of us wanted to meet face to face. We just didn't think we could wait until Jesus returned and therefore, it was ...

With so many kids, I have to spread myself around, but only as if fits into their schedule. I wait until they express a desire for some Mom time and then I am glad to comply. Everyone has such busy schedules as they try to make their own commitments...

| Comment (1)This is the day the Lord has made, we will rejoice in it. I enjoyed entering the Sabbath last night in the house He provided among brothers and sisters in Christ. I am so blessed to be able to not only share there, but here with you all. Besides sharing all that He is doing for us, I rested well during the first part of the Sabbath and rose to...

During worship time the other evening my son directed me to a website he enjoys listening to called ibethel.org. | Comments (3)Last night I was able to attend a home service of praises at my son's house. During the service, I was praying about the last experience I wrote about "Confounding the medical" and I realized that God through this experience was preparing hearts of the patient and family to receive Him. When they rebuffed the prayers of the chaplain, I wondered at ...

| Comment (1)Heavenly Father, I am coming to You on behalf of the people of Israel who have been under attack for so long a time. They have been at the center of so much controversy in just claiming what You have given them. | Comments (2)I've been busy this morning, reading blogs was in the past one of my early morning rituals unless I was led by the Lord to write something. Sometimes I would comment, and sometimes I was just led to ponder. Many people wrote what God put on their heart and it was powerful, so you just had to think and pray over it. Sometimes it was someone pouring ...

| Comment (1)This week in our Bible Study we are challenged to ask the question that Jesus asked of His disciples, "Who do you say I am?" in every time we open the Bible and read a passage. We agreed that the entirity of scripture points to Jesus and so as we read and open ourselves to the Spirit asking for wisdom in understanding the scriptures, we ask the...

| Comments (2)Today we meet again with Kenny's pastor on some introductory lessons to the Lutheran Faith. Last week the pastor started with asking if we had any goals through these studies and I drew a blank. | Comments (3)Years ago when I was a young girl, I went with a friend to visit her church. They were having a revival and had a guest minister preaching. | Comment (1)I woke up this morning with this word in my head. That usually means that I am to look it up. There was a piece of a scripture in my head, so I decided to check it out with the concordance that I like to search through. Since I was a child, we have played a game within my family where we arose early and said "Christmas Eve Gift" to each of our family members. The goal of the game was to say it before the other said it to us. The only way to win the game was to say it before the other could say it to us. If they said it first, it was a whole year before...
Read More »About: I am originally from Texas but moved here to Southern California about 14 years ago to be near family for help in raising my children. I work as a nurse in a local hospital in this area. My children are all grown, but still are a joy and then there are the grandchildren. Now I am continuing to venture forth with God as my guide. I chose my screen name because my name comes from Hebrew and means "a bee". My middle name, Kay, comes from Greek and means "exultant or rejoicing". So to me my name means, "One who seeks only the sweet (the Lord) in life with rejoicing". I believe and claim scriptural motivations for my name in the verses of Ezekial 3:3, Proverbs 16:21, and Psalms 19 I have a personal ministry within nursing which God placed me in years ago and I know when I am given patients under my care that it is an assignment from Him. The scripture He gave me years ago regarding my ministry is in Isaiah 40:1 "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, Saith the Lord your God." Through His assistance, He works to do just that with the people I serve. My prayer is that all would come to have a supernatural experience with Jesus, to meet Him, accept Him into their lives and have a special relationship with Him forever. I just love a big family!!
