Even Before

I Am the Even Before God

Even before the stars had a name, I knew your name.

 

Even before you were knitted in your mothers’ womb, I knew everything about you.

 

Even before you took your first step, I charted the course of your life.

 

Even before you called me LORD, I sent my Son.

 

Even before you called me Savior, I died for you.

 

Even before you called me Father, I loved you.

 

Even before you go into battle, I have defeated your enemies.

 

Even before you face the impossible, I have made a way of escape.

 

Even before you got the doctors report, I provided the healing.

 

Even before you lost your job, I supplied all your needs.

 

Even before you were in bondage, I purchased your freedom.

 

Even before you call upon my name, I will answer (Isaiah 65:24)

 

Wow, what a promise!

Amen! "Even before" makes us realize we don't have the control we so desperately want in this world. God is always in control, praise His name!

About: God told Isaiah in Chapter 43:18-19 to "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland". In Chapter 48:6b, God speaks these words, "From now on I will tell you of new things, of hidden things unknown to you". From now on, leaving the past behind and embracing all things NEW, I press on. From now on, I shall no longer speak of my past abuse as if were today's reality. From now on, I shall keep my past pain in its proper place...under the blood at the foot of the Cross of Calvary! From now on...all things are brand NEW! AMEN!
