So Much More

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written:  “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”

I am totally convinced, that on our very best day, we have only scratched the surface of what the Lord has available for those who love Him.  Our carnal minds far underestimate the glory, honor and power of God to do far more exceedingly for us than we can ever think or imagine.

God has determined to bless His children.  He sent Jesus to the earth to reveal to us what He has made available to us.  It was not just for Jesus He did these things, it was for all the rest of us.  Jesus revealed to us what it is like to live everyday in the Kingdom of heaven.

When the disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray, the first thing Jesus taught them was:  In this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name.10 Your kingdom come.Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:9-10)

Is there sickness and disease in heaven?  Is there poverty in heaven?  Is there anger and malice in heaven?  Of course not!  And that is why Jesus came to show us what heaven is really like.  He came to destroy the works of the devil and to set the captives free.  He wants it on earth just like it already is in heaven!

He set the example. He taught us the principles of the Kingdom.  He provided us with the power of the Holy Spirit.  He told us He would never leave us to face the enemy alone.  He encouraged us to be bold and step out in faith, obeying His word and watching, as He confirmed His word with signs and wonders.

Let us all make up our minds to stop hindering the power of God by our lack of faith/trust in Him.  Let’s just do what He told us to do and leave the results up to Him!

Mark 16:15-18 And He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

God blesses obedience!  He empowers the faithful!  He encourages the weak and makes them strong!
