What A Day! by Jane at The Elizabeth Company

Today has been one of those days where you couldn't finish one thing before you were placed in the middle of something else. Myself, the center direct, the other two volunteers and three interns at SavALife had our hands full today.

Thursdays are always special, because volunteers Jennifer D. and Jennifer G. conduct the Mom's class. This class is growing so fast, we're running out of room. Moms bring their babies and small children with them to the class and enjoy an hour to hour and a half of teaching, discussion, interaction, sharing and so on.

The center is only open for four hours. Today there were around seven clients who needed testing, counseling, ultrasounds, etc. We had a special need where one of our pregnant clients had just become homeless. It was my job to assist her both on and off site until she settled into a temporary transitional place for the time being.

When you ask God to enlarge your territory, and he does it, don't be in shock. There were instances today I didn't have time to even think or feel. I just had to keep moving, and hopefully moving in the Spirit. This thing is ordained by God.

The Elizabeth Company website is in its infancy; yet it is a unique site. It has a Prayer Room, with song and prayers for our nation and other issues that concern God's people. Visit and join the prayer starters at
