This morning, I just want to continue the word started on Saturday about the Woman who had been crippled for 18 years (Luke 13:10-17). For 18 years she was bowed low, but in one instance, with just four words from the Lord's mouth and he laying his hand on her, she was healed! 
He got in trouble though. Yes, the young Rabbi Jesus got in trouble because it was the Sabbath Day. He didn't follow protocol. My thoughts went to how God himself kicked protocol to the curve when he removed his Holy Royal Robe and his High Royal Diadem and robed himself in the body of a man and came into this world as a babe. He was born - not to a princess either - but to a lowly virgin maiden. No wonder they could not accept the Lord Jesus for who he was. They were too busy waiting for protocol. It never came.
The Lord did it for you and me. He violated his own creation, his own standard of birth, his own holiness so to speak. He cared more about our souls that we be saved than whether or not it was the right day of the week or political correctness.
What about you? What are you waiting for to happen that you will give your life to the One who busted up all the traditions of men just to be our savior? Today is a new day. You can have salvation today. That is what Jesus made available to us, through his Blood and his Name (Acts 2:38).
Thank you Lord for loving all of us enough to give your life. Thank you Father!
