It has only been a month since I last tried to use this program.  It seems one is not allowed to go so long without using any particular set of fonts.  I come in a month and the whole thing has changed.  I am reminded of my friend … about twenty-five years ago I gave her a “mail station”.  Do any of you remember those?  All it did was write and send emails.  She uses it to this day with no particular problems and is very happy with it.  I don’t know if she writes to anyone besides me, But she is happy doing that.  I almost wish I had kept it and had forgotten all about computers.  Computers and I just don’t mix.  I know that I have children that use them all the time very successfully… it just isn’t my thing.  Anyway, while this is writing, I will get on with my blog before it decides to make a change on me and I can no longer use it this morning.

I have been on Facebook for a couple of years.  (3-4 I don’t remember.)  Anyway, in the past six months or so, it has seemed to go downhill… at least as far as I am concerned.  (I get concerned with spellings…. Like “downhill”… I had it as two words and my computer makes it one word.  Whoever decided THAT was correct?)  Looking at the word changes just in these two paragraphs, I have decided that I will no longer be able to proof-read for people.  It was something I was good at and that I enjoyed doing; but someone came along in the past few years and changed a number of things that has caused me to lose my confidence.  Is that what happens to old people?  First the limbs are devalued, being unable to climb trees and roll down hills any more.  The next thing is that one can no longer dance… and that seemed to be such a simple sport!  It is interesting watching the things you do go down the drain.  Does anyone iron anymore?  (It just changed “any more” to “anymore”!  Can you believe that?  It is making single words out of all my two word phrases!)  Back to the iron.  Mine has sat on the shelf for years.

So why should  I be surprised that Face Book (I tried to make it one word, but my computer says it is two!) is losing ground?  You know, you can send messages to people through Praize?  It is just as easy.  You can post pictures on Praize.  I think you can do everything on Praize that you do on Face Book.  Try it and let me know what works and what doesn’t.  I’ll look forward to hearing from you!
