LOVE'S SONG
LOVE’S SONG
SONG OF SOLOMON2; 8
Arise, my darling.
Come away, my beautiful one.
11 For now the winter is past;
the rain has ended and gone away.
12 The blossoms appear in the countryside.
The time of singing has come;
the groom speaks to his lover and asks her to come away to the high places. The relationship is always rising, riding the high places. The conversational levels always carry the voice of life at highest point from him lifting her up.
A rose is the tenderest in blossom and health because if cared for properly brings out the most beautiful blooms of all the flowers. Doesn’t love share that same characteristic with the rose? It must be cared for with great tenderness and love; sprinkled with water and fertilizer as needed each day, so that it doesn’t close in death. A crushing word can close the blossom of loves’ rose just as harsh sun can destroy the plant of the rose. It amazes me at the similarity of 1Corthinans 13. It is almost like formula’ to grow two different plants that come to the same end if directions are followed very carefully.
What are you growing with your conversation?
There is only one change of direction in the whole of the book and it is in chapter five. If you see it write you thoughts about it in a blog or forum and let us see it.
