555 BUS.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

Jesus is like a bus. We recognize that it is going to the place we want to be, get in, and STAY IN UNTIL WE GET TO OUR DESTINATION!

Jesus is going to inherit, and be the king of, God’s new creation. (New heaven and new earth.)

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Jesus paid the price, God required, to become the king of God’s kingdom, however, He also paid the price for all of mankind to be with Him.

Those who have accepted Jesus gift and are living for, and trusting, Him, will go where Jesus goes and will do what Jesus does.

John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

Eternal life is not in Heaven or on the earth; it IS in Jesus and Him alone.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

We MUST be found IN HIM. There is no other way.

John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

Since the human race began, mankind has been looking for a way to reach God and live forever.

Religions abound, lifestyles proliferate, rules and regulations, for pleasing God, are everywhere, and mankind has even tried to deny God to escape their punishment.

These are man’s way of trying to outthink God but God is going to do it His way and will require us to obey and follow, or miss out.

Jesus is the word of God and He has entrusted those words to His faithful. We are to tell the world God’s truth so that they may have the opportunity to hear it and obey it.

Jesus is the bus, but we are the conductors He uses to minister to the passenger’s needs.

We can do nothing without Jesus.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

Most of the time, we fail when we try to operate on our own. God is merciful and will often give us what we are trying to do because He sees that it is good, but often He has other plans and wants us to listen to His voice rather than hurry of on our own agenda.

John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

Every bus has safety rules put in place for the health and safety of all on board and the Jesus bus is no different.

Love one another is the main rule.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

There is also, rules of conduct that apply in the Jesus bus.

1 John 3:17 But whoso hath this world's good, and seeth his brother have need, and shutteth up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?

Those who are truly in the Jesus bus WILL DO WHAT JESUS COMMANDS THEM TO DO.

There are many who think they are in the Jesus bus but do not want to do what He says to do; they are only fooling themselves.

Proverbs 25:14 Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift is like clouds and wind without rain.

There are also, many who think they are in the Jesus bus but are listening to the wrong people for their guidance.

2 Peter 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

2 Peter 2:2 And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.

There are many who want to get into the Jesus bus but are careless and stumble. Jesus also has words for those.

1 John 4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, but try the spirits whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.

And; what of those who get into the Jesus bus but get back out again before reaching their destination.

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

The best advice I can give you is to get into the Jesus bus and work to stay there until you reach Heaven.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.
