2Peter
3:3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers,
walking after their own lusts,

Scripture
has quite a bit to say about the last days so I thought I would list some and
see if we can find the present evidence for them.

2Timothy
3:1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2Timothy
3:2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud,
blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,

2Timothy
3:3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent,
fierce, despisers of those that are good,

2Timothy
3:4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

2Timothy
3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn
away.

Perilous
times when no one cares or looks out for anyone else. They are too busy loving
themselves and are doing whatever gets them rewards or praise. They don’t take
the advice or teaching of their parents and are thankless to those who give of
their time and efforts for them to gain.

Lovers
of pleasures more than lovers of God and, as God’s servants, should know better
than to covet money or other people’s wives. Those who do not know God cannot
be judged by this one but those who know Him and love pleasures against His
words will be doing this.

In my
lifetime alone men’s word has gotten so one cannot trust it and even with close
faithful neighbours we lock our doors. Having read older books and listened to
the older generation tell stories; I have found that men’s morals have been in
sharp decline for many years.

Can it
get much worse than mothers aborting their own children and fathers raping
their own daughters? Hard to imagine but I believe it will.

The
last days are being measured by the population of the world as earth disasters
and horrific weather patterns but God measures the end of this era and any of
His dealings on earth through His created beings; the human race.

The
first 1565 years saw mankind become so evil God repented that He created the
human race. Once created in His image God could not wipe out humans because He
also created a responsibility for Himself to them. He killed off the living
with a world flood but saved 8 souls who obeyed Him.

Genesis
6:13 And God said unto Noah, The end of all flesh is come before me; for the
earth is filled with violence through them; and, behold, I will destroy them
with the earth.

The
signs of the end are not in the natural disasters that are occurring but in the
wicked violence humans are doing to each other and their total disregard for
anything but their own lusts.

Jude
1:18 How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who
should walk after their own ungodly lusts.

As I
watch the slow descent of my generation into moral decay and violent selfish
pleasuring, I often wonder why God doesn’t end this time period now but He is
merciful and wants to give people every chance He can spare. The end will come
soon enough but for most people, their personal end may come before God’s end
time.

The
judgement and punishment is still the same for all people whether they die in
the end time troubles or in a natural death. We have an obsession to know when
the end will happen so we can repent and get in at the last minute and not miss
out on heaven but God can see that thought in our hearts. He is not fooled and
will reward everyone as they deserve.

Hosea
4:9 And there shall be, like people, like priest: and I will punish them for
their ways, and reward them their doings.

The
biggest sign I see that the end is very near is the church letting the
governing rulers outlaw those things that scripture tells us to do and not
finding a way to obey God and the law. Our minds are giving up and giving in to
unrighteousness while we still have the smarts to get around the law and still
obey it.

They
have tried to stop our prayers but they cannot stop my thanking God in my heart
and hearing His voice in my mind. They also cannot stop me teaching my children
to walk with God inside and pray in their minds.

We, the
uncaring church will bring God’s end by giving up and not caring enough to find
the ways to obey God anyway. When it was the wickedness of man that caused God
to act in bringing down the waters in a flood, it will be the wickedness of man
that will bring the end of this time and the return of our lord Jesus Christ to
take control of this world.

Matthew
24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning
of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Matthew
24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be
saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

You
see, it will be because mankind will be on the verge of destroying the human
race that God will intervene and end time. God knows when He will have to do
this but it is us that will cause Him to act and bring about the end.

While
we are waiting and looking for the end, we are bringing that end to our world.

Every
situation we get into and every decision we make has a result attached to it.
We make our futures by the decisions we make along the way. We could actually
stop God from ending this era if the whole world would repent and turn to God
in love and obedience, but God said we would not do that because He knew we
would not do that.

If you
really want to see the signs of the end, look at the thoughts and actions of
mankind and compare them to our history. You will plainly see we are going
downhill so fast it is astounding; hastening God’s angry intervention into the
affairs of our wickedness.
