Promoting love and not anger or violence

There is so much disharmony in the world especially on social media. I joined Facebook to keep up with friends and family that I live far away from. If one of them posts, you never know who will jump on the post and begin to make attempts to hijack the conversation and make rude comments to raise your anger. I have tried to address them with kindness and understanding without success. Now I am finding that there are others that have the same feelings and are therefore looking for alternate ways to communicate with like minded Christians. Today I suggested as an alternative site. I am checking out some of the other sites, but so far find them very difficult to access and chat. Continuing to prevail! I think the more we practice what Jesus taught toward each other and refuse to be baited into the negative, our lives will be enriched and that ground will be taken for the kingdom. God bless your day!

I could not agree more! I have recently returned to FB in order to connect with a group that encompasses a particular pain disorder, which my husband has. I have a very few friends/family and most of those I do not follow. That place can be so full of negative drama and much of my family no longer spend much time there and use it mostly to share photos.

I have found no other place like Praize and would be happy if it regained an active membership once again.

About: I am originally from Texas but moved here to Southern California about 18 years ago to be near family for help in raising my children. I worked as a nurse in a local hospital in this area until retiring a year ago. My children are all grown, but still are a joy and then there are the grandchildren who are a joy also. Now I am continuing to venture forth with God as my guide. I chose my screen name because my name comes from Hebrew and means "a bee". My middle name, Kay, comes from Greek and means "exultant or rejoicing". So to me my name means, "One who seeks only the sweet (the Lord) in life with rejoicing". I believe and claim scriptural motivations for my name in the verses of Ezekial 3:3, Proverbs 16:21, and Psalms 19 I had a personal ministry within nursing which God placed me in years ago and now am seeking where He is taking me. The scripture He gave me years ago regarding my ministry is in Isaiah 40:1 "Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, Saith the Lord your God." Through His assistance, He works to do just that with the people I serve. My prayer is that all would come to have a supernatural experience with Jesus, to meet Him, accept Him into their lives and have a special relationship with Him forever. I just love a big family!!
