GETTING READY TO GO HOME

                          GETTING READY TO GO HOME

At home as a teen when it came time for the end to preached in church I think I spent as much time praying as I ever did for any reason. My logic; I didn’t want God sneaking up and me not make it.

M y thoughts on the end was that I would see and that Israel would be attack from every corner and a few missiles might misfire over here somewhere and hit a major synagogue

And kill a few thousand Americans.

Later as I entered Bible College some earnest heart felt questions begin to arise and I wondered what really was the truth in this. I just found out that this county is one of four counties here in Central Fla. that has 6-8000 kids go to school hungry every morning. Teachers because of fund shortages in the school system are banding together and feeding them.

The churches used to do that and did it with joy. I think some of the heart of getting ready for Jesus is not there now. People no longer really know what they are looking for. Is it war, earthquakes, floods, drought, lack of any kind what is going to say that Jesus is coming.

The Bible gives one hint and it is the revivals that are sweeping across the globe with miracles that only could come by the Holy Spirit. People are coming to the Lord that some of the earlier Christians thought to be hopeless in sin.

The face of the church on a global basis is changing rapidly with people at the pre 25 age brackets coming to the Lord in herds. Miracles are happening in this as the people find a reality in Jesus.

I am finding out that maybe the old events of end time teaching are not really the things to watch for if you hope to see him coming. These I believe were left for us to know the seasons of his coming ,but to know the accurate time for him you must be full of the Holy Spirit and watching as the prophet Habakkuk said when he said he would go to the tower and stand his watch waiting on the vision from the Lord.

The quiet still small voice of the Spirit of God is the only accurate radar for that coming and believe me he speaks daily.
