CAN YOU SEE OR FEEL LOVE?

CAN YOU SEE OR FEEL LOVE?

If you really want to see love in a physical reality you have to study people and see their reactions in normal events.

For instance a father who hugs a daughter going through some difficult events in her life; Why ? Because he has nothing more than the protective wall his arms can build around her for a few moments, in those moments with his arms around  her there is security because she knows in the arms of her father nothing can penetrate there .

What about the arms of the Lord or being in the secret place of the most high?--(Psalms chapter 91)

How much of what we do today and quite frankly take for granted is really taken from the Grace of God?  Have you ever been in the pits of despair with no where to turn? Have you broken down under the strain of it and just begin to weep and some where in the self pity you find your self praying in the spirit and feel that sustaining Grace of God flowing in you and you know you have touched the throne of Grace. If you take examples from life; what about the pastor in relation to the Church; isn’t that a picture of Christ to the body?

Look at this ,Song of Solomon 8:3

3 His left hand is under my head,

and his right arm embraces me.

He has enfolded her body in his arms in love, even her attempts in chapter 5 could not turn him from his feeling. Read those 3chapters (3-5) and carefully from the picture like illustrations of  love, see if you can feel the heart of the Master for you.

What you see when your wife wraps her arms around you to hold you and feel your expression of love for her. What do you feel emanating from her arms around you?  It is only something she can give to one most precious to her.

Look at your everyday life and see if there aren’t daily communications of how the Lord loves you. If you see physical expressions of intimacy in those chapters from Song of Solomon you are probably right but bear in mind the love of God is physical, powerful and passionate. If it were not how could he have gone to the cross.?
