567 I TOLD YOU SO.

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

God’s word is all we need to understand the truth. It is just so hard to find in a world soaked in lies.

First, where do we find the truth? We know that Jesus was the truth.

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

We also know that Jesus was God’s word walking in the flesh.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

What we are trying to find is, how Jesus’ truth is translated down to us, here in this present time and society.

John 8:31 Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed;

John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Right, Jesus’ truth is known by His disciples. So, anyone calling themselves ‘Christian’ is true? No!

Matthew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

God is the master of ‘truth’ but the devil is the father of lies.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

It is obvious that the devil has more children, today, than God does. So, we need some help.

Jesus has sent His Holy Spirit into the world to help us to Him (the truth).

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

John 16:13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

Jesus gives the Spirit of truth to those who receive Him. This is how Jesus makes us free. We become free to spread the truth wherever God would have us go. Thus, we go preaching the truth, which is the gospel of the kingdom of God.

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

The truth (Gospel of the kingdom of God, which is Christ) shall be preached (spoken) throughout the whole world.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

All of mankind will hear the truth at some time in their lives, so they will not have any excuse when they come before God, which is the judgement of all.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

God’s truth is powerful enough to present His truth to everyone.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

Each man and woman must hear and either receive or reject the truth that God sends to them, for the salvation of their soul (that individual ‘you’ that is encased in your human fleshly body).

Those who accept God’s truth, and believes, will belong to Jesus and become a part of God’s Kingdom. At God’s judgement, Jesus will claim them as His own.

Luke 12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

Those who reject God’s truth and does not believe Him, will receive their just reward at God’s White Throne judgement and be rejected of God, to live eternally with their father, the devil, in his eternal home; the Lake of Fire.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

God’s only response, to those who do not believe Him, can be to sadly say “I TOLD YOU SO, BUT YOU DID NOT BELIEVE” (words not in scripture but used by poetic licence).
