Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Believing is faith; to believe something or someone, is to have faith in that something or someone.

When you believe, you will trust what you believe in.

I could go on and define all kinds of worldly beliefs and probably hit most of you but believing in God is the most important belief you will ever need.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that Cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

But….what does ‘believe’ in God really mean? The devil believes in God but he is Condemned to a fate of eternal burning in the lake of fire, in Hell.

We can believe in God AND still suffer the same fate; why?

Because to believe is to trust in, and act on, God AND what He says.

There is more to God than this invisible force, which made, Controls, and watches over His creation. He is not a static God.

God made us in His image to interact with Him; so, He expects something from us. The devil is a liar and wants to deceive us into believing in him and not believing in God.

John 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

There is THE DIFFERENCE between God and the devil; God is always true and the devil is always lying. (even though the devil will be true sometimes or partially true most of the time, he will always end up a liar or in a lie.)

The Conclusion is that God IS THE THREAD OF TRUTH that we must follow in our daily life, while we live out our life until it ends.

So, where is God’s truth that we can believe and trust in it?

The devil will give us 100 truths so we can trust him, then he lies to us, at the end, so we can die and be condemned with him.

God’s truth will always BE TRUE EVEN TO THE END, giving us the one thing we can believe and trust in. We cannot see God, so, He has spoken and is giving us His true word for us to believe and trust in.

God has not only given us His word, but He has sent us His son, Jesus, to LIVE GOD’S WORD so we can SEE GOD’S TRUE WORD.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

We now have God’s true word living, breathing, and living among us; to give us a real and true path for us to live by and believe in.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

This belief in Jesus is also, not static but is alive and vibrant; powerful enough to live by, trust in, and Conquer death.

John 8:51 Verily, verily, I say unto you, If a man keep my saying, he shall never see death.

So, our belief is not in a God, whom we cannot see; but in Jesus, God’s son AND GOD’S WORD WHOM WE CAN SEE.

The devil has filled the world with really good sounding lies, so, how can WE know what is truth and what is lies?

God’s word will always be true, Jesus will always be true, Jesus’ people will always be true (or correct themselves with truth when they find themselves wrong) and all will be living examples of fulfilled and fulfilling scriptures.

2 Corinthians 1:18 But as God is true, our word toward you was not yea and nay.

2 Corinthians 1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.

2 Corinthians 1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

Believe in whatever and whoever is living God’s word and speaking the truth, which Jesus spoke and is speaking. Believe and trust in what becomes true AND IS A PART OF GOD’S HOLY SCRIPTURES.

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Mark 13:31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.

Luke 21:33 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
