Merry Christmas, dear Jesus!

I had always intended to write two blogs this month, but the month almost got by me before I got to the second one!  The reason is that my Christmas gift this year is a new computer.  I should probably have had one a couple of years ago, but I don't like change, especially in computers! (And pray that I don't ever need a new car!) I remember a time whe"n I enjoyed new things and trying them.  Those days have long passed and the world has gone on without my help.

So yesterday Santa brought me a new computer and I am learning. . . So here I am, watching a Christmas story of Colombo (my favorite detective!) and hoping nothing unusual or irregular comes up on my screen. I'm tryin.g to learn to do things by finger instead of by key.  Jim tells me that soon there will be no key board on any of the computers.  I can't imagine how I will function.  I guess it will be kind of like  tapping the keys on my phone instead of dialing numbers?  I remember when phones came out with a previx to the number.  My phone was 1855.  Then it became LIberty 1855; and soon after that LIberty 1-1855.  Then I don't know what happened to it.  It probably became an antique in a store somewhere of something that used to be... many years ago.  Kind of like carrying a dime in your shoe.  That is what women, especially young women, did, in case they needed to make a phone call.  Oh well, I have gone off my subject here.

Back to the post.... Love Jesus and those around you.  None of us knows how many days, weeks, or hours we have left.  And when they are gone, they are gone.  No more hugs or kisses or "I love you's."

Actually, the second blog of the month was not to be about me, but to glorify my saviour, Jesus.  How mighty He is!!! I am so blessed, that even when I am not blessed I am blessed! We have a choice every day if we want to feel blessed or not.  Yes, it is your choice.  I don't care WHAT your situation is, you make the choice. The blessing is yours for the taking.  Choose not to think about those things that depress. Choose instead to thing about Jesus and all He has done for you.  Dwell on the things that are good. Even if you only have ONE thing that is good: dwell on IT!  Jesus loved you enough to die for you, and that was plenty.

I love you, Jesus.  Thank you for Your birth and Your death.  I'm SO glad that it all happened.  I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you and yours forever.  Merry Christmas to us all.

No need for corrections Sarah. I speaks with perfect clarity. It says Thank Jesus, Love others, Merry Christmas.

What else is needed.

Merry Christmas, and enjoy your new computer. Love Chris.

I realize that there are some corrections needed in this blog, but please forgive me if I don't make them. After thinking I had lost my entire post, several times, I have decided to leave it just the way it is. Please accept it with my love. Enjoy your Christmas and your loved ones. I'll see you next year! Blessings ~ Sarah
