2 Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Air is a necessary substance for our existence. If there were no air, we would die.

Air carries oxygen, which is a vital food for our bodies to sustain life and be healthy.

God has placed everything in order to maintain life on His earth but the operation of life is mostly hidden from view. Scripture says that our life is in our blood.

Leviticus 17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.

It is not that the blood is our life. It is that the blood carries everything we need to live, with it, as it travels through our bodies. It brings us food, air, medicine, protection, and moisture, which it picks up from other places, and takes our body’s waste away to dispose of so it will not harm us.

When mankind sinned against his God, God required him to sacrifice life-blood to ‘show’ God our earnest desire to be sorry for what we had done and our wish to return to Him.

It is a horribly bloody scene to kill and extract the blood from any living thing and was not something, which any human being should want to do. Mankind had a relationship with the animals and it cost mankind, in anguish, to kill and dismember their pets and livestock.

We became cold and indifferent to the death of animals and humans, which is why Jesus had to come, live, die, and raise again to be our ‘sacrifice’ for our sins so, those who are heartbroken for their wickedness before God can repent and renew their tenderness of heart for God and His life creation.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

This all happens in the unseen world of the spirit, under the flesh and in the realm of the intended actions; in other words, in our soul.

We cannot see the intent or conniving of the soul but we can study and learn to recognize the evidence of the intent and conniving of the soul.

The scripture says that we can know even what a child’s intentions can be known by what it does.

Proverbs 20:11 Even a child is known by his doings, whether his work be pure, and whether it be right.

Romans 1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:

As with our blood, God’s life is not seen in the physical but is in the invisible world of the spirit.

Our life is in Jesus and He will send to us what we need, by His Spirit, as we need it. This is all done, unseen by the human eye but can be understood by the evidence of a changed life.

2 Corinthians 3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord.

Jesus returned from the grave and rose to live with His father, God, but the evidence of His life is still being lived out in the lives of His people. He is clearly seen by those who wish to look beyond their physical boundaries and into the unseen world of God’s unknown.

Out of our sight does not mean there is no physical evidence of existence.

Seeing the unseen means understanding why the physical is, the way it is.

The unseen world in a man’s heart will make itself known in the physical world, but it takes the unseen Spirit to divulge the knowledge needed to correctly discern the unseen world.

Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

1 Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.
