Major Meeting of Christian Churches in October

In October of this year a number of denominations including Franklin Graham of the Billy Graham Evangelical Assoc are planning on meeting in Moscow to discuss the State of Christianity. The Russian Orthodox Church is also reportedly planning to attend. They are planning on discussing the plight of Christians in the MIddle East. A word of thanks has to be given to Prince Charles. His comments (I think it was Dec 2015) concerning the genocide of Christians in the Middle East were possibly instrumental in prompting political entities such as the EU to make statements of their own about the genocide of Christians. If it takes place, this meeting should be interesting to follow. Especially since the Catholic and Russian Orthodox churches are discussing the possibility of merging. For those who are interested here is an article on CBN:

Hi Sarah:
As far as the October meeting in Moscow: I think the meeting's focus is more on achieving concord rather than revival. I think they want to be able to respond to these genocides in a more concerted way. It is possible that something may emerge from the conference that promotes a revival. However, I think it's too early to tell.

Thank you for posting this. M7th is also posting about revival that is taking place in certain states in America. I believe it is not by accident that both of these situations are happening. If possible, perhaps you could post some information about these things in the forums for discussion? Blessings ~ Sarah
