DO YOU REALLY BELIEVE JESUS IS THE SAVIOR AND LORD OF ALL??-------part 2

In part of this blog I used one door in scripture to establish an opening used to introduce Jesus an his Lordship.  A second avenue to do this comes  in the beginning covenant relation established btween heaven and Abraham.

Gen, 22-------MEV

And he said, “Here I am.”

12 Then He said, “Do not lay your hands on the boy or do anything to him, because now I know that you fear God, seeing you have not withheld your only son from Me.”

13 Then Abraham lifted up his eyes and looked, and behind him was a ram caught in a thicket by his horns. So Abraham went and took the ram and offered him up as a burnt offering in the place of his son. 14 Abraham called the name of that place The Lord Will Provide, as it is said to this day, “In the mount of the Lord it will be provided.”

15 Then the angel of the Lord called to Abraham out of heaven a second time, 16 and said, “By Myself I have sworn, says the Lord, because you have done this thing, and have not withheld your son, your only son, 17 I will indeed bless you and I will indeed multiply your descendants as the stars of the heavens and as the sand that is on the seashore. Your descendants will possess the gate of their enemies. 18 Through your offspring all the nations of the earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed My voice.”

A little background in this due to the fall and treachery of Adam The Lord was not in control of the earth but Satan was the Lord here and God the  Creator  had to be in a position to enter earth as creator Lord He---God had to be invited back in by a legal inhabitant of  earth--Abraham.    The Lord came to Abraham and demanded the sacrifice of the promised son-- Isaac.   Abraham willingly agreed Isaac was the Child of promise and the Lord would preserve the seed of Promise.

Abraham took Isaac to the mount of sacrifice and  prepared him but before the offering could take place the Father provided the lamb.

In a covenant because Abraham had made the first step in offering his child of Promise; the Father by Hebrew law must respond in kind and then came the door for Jesus to enter the earth and become the stone that destroyed the Idol of Nebchadnezzar's dream and through the cross become KING of kings

Gal. 2:19-21

When we go to the cross in faith we accept the sacrifice Jesus made for us and welcome him as Lord.  The important thing is we must signify faith by coming to him first andthe scripture says that whoever comes he won't cast out or cast  away.

Then daily through the presence of the Holy Spirit learn to live his word.  The Word at his second coming will be the judge of our lives and getting into heaven.

I have shared this on several occasions that the principle times that I spend with the Lord to pray,to worship, or to be corrected by the Spirit  usuallY occur from 2:30 --4:00 AM,  Now because the election process prompted the release of some my fleshly side in my feelings about certain candidates, It had to be times for a correctional admonishment from the Lord,  two things were quite evident in the way I was going to be met by the Lord this time.  The first thing on our agenda  was my public vilification  of a candidate's behavior with my fleshly opinions,  for example when a certain Republican candidate began with using at his command  all the seemingly lower forms of adjectives and then went to destructive criticism of an opponent, in the spirit released in the moment I returned to forms of my preChrist personality and experience.  Then in those moments coming just short of vulgarity would vent my wrath and need a bath later.

When you wash in the water of the world you need to go back to  1John1:9 and bathe in a pool of the Lord's forgiveness.  If you move from the broad road of  destruction to the narrow road of life Matthew taught us about Then you feel life; the life in the Lord,  I recently started a thread in the Forums on marriage and the sacred covenant of  marriage, In the forum discussions I found it to easy to move from the fact this was supposed to be the Christian form of Discussion to other worldly forms.

Being a Christian is a decision and must be carried out on a moment by moment basis through the unction(teaching of the H0ly Spirit)

Lashing out at an enemy or  friends of family;that's a shouldn't do because you have a constant ear for you on your knees in prayer. You must always be careful about the mouth and what  you do with the confessions you release from it .  The Bible says out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. You can really betray yourself by speaking in anger .

LEARN HOW TO PRAY IN ALL THINGS OR SITUATIONS AAND DON'T RELEASE THE BRAKES ON YOUR MOUTH  BECAUSE THAT IS SURE TRIP TO AN ALTAR OF REPENTANCE.  Remember  the Bible Characterizes the road to life in the Lord as narrow .
