460 GOD’S HOME.

Revelation 19:1 And after these things I heard a great voice of much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, and glory, and honour, and power, unto the Lord our God:

Heaven is not our dream home; it is God’s home. Those who get to live there will live in His home as His people.

Revelation 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

I have heard many descriptions of heaven or what everyone wants heaven to be like but scriptures do not agree with these views.

Plain and simple, it is GOD’S HOME and Jesus said that He is going to prepare a place for us.

John 14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Jesus is preparing a place for us in God’s home. Revelation tells us what this place is.

Hebrews 11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.

Our heavenly home will be in God’s city where Jesus reigns as our king and we are subject to His rule. There will be no other authority but Jesus’ in this heaven.

Our fantasy ideas of a paradise beach or a cloudy kingdom are not reality. Those hoping for a continuous orgy of sex and food will find themselves either bound in outer darkness or sweltering in a lake of fire.

Revelation 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

The physical heaven starts at the water line and goes up. It is here in the present as the earth’s atmosphere. Under it is the earth’s core, which is where the heat comes from and above it is God’s attic. All of it is where God is.

God is going to renew this earth and heaven is still going to be here but renewed.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

In God’s heaven, there will be no paved roads, no pollution, no death (everything will be vegetarians. We will eat no meat.), no commercial buildings, no concrete dwellings, no motor vehicles, no electronics, and no eye candy (art, classic cars, graven images, creative architect, designer clothes, private property, etc.).

There will be no wars, angry outbursts, jealousy, selfish agendas, greed, lying, hatred, gossip, or lusts. I, me, and mine will seldom be used in our conversations.

There will be no genders. We will all be the same and have no spouse, no sex, and no animosity towards any other.

Matthew 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

There will be nothing in Heaven, which will give offence.

Matthew 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

Matthew 13:42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Heaven will be a place of peace and security. There will be nothing dangerous or unhealthy.

There will be animals, agriculture, rule of law, love, and contentment.

People will be expected to obey and control themselves; doing what is right and caring for everyone else’s wellbeing and peace of mind.

I know this is not everyone’s view of Heaven and even sounds boring to those adrenaline junkies who look for their thrills but it is God’s Heaven and this is how He wants it to be.

There is one other thing, which will make this Heaven for me and many other folks. The love of my life will be there; even Jesus Christ, my master.

John 14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

That’s what makes Heaven, Heaven. We are told to love God with all our heart, mind, and soul and Jesus, God’s son.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Heaven is God’s home, Jesus’ palace, and the place where my love is, and that is why it is Heaven to me.

Matthew 10:37 He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me.

Heaven will be the way God wants it. You will have to accept this if you want to be there.
