Walking Through Eden And Beyond (Part 8)

I don’t know how hungry you are, but I am going to serve you anyway. I hope you will take what is served and share with others. Sorry, but I can’t serve any fowl (bird), whale and other fish meat yet. I will tell you why later.

Genesis 1:20 And God said, Let the waters bring forth abundantly the moving creature that hath life, and fowl that may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

The waters are back in focus today. I will call them sea or seas based on previous text. I will remind you that a lot of the first waters were moved far above the earth. So that means I do not know with certainty which waters the fowl came from. It looks like the context is indicating that they came from the seas. The same waters or seas were responding to the word of God to bring forth the moving creature as well as the fowl. I have to jump to verse twenty-two to see that God blessed the whales and other moving creature (animals) to fill the seas. I can tell from that information that the fowl (birds) also were created with water from the seas.

I once read that the earth had a water canopy before rain began to fall. It is hard for me to accept that because the water would create a closed firmament (space). The scripture above reads clearly that the firmament was open, where it reads that the fowl may fly above the earth in the open firmament of heaven.

If I read those words about the fifth day and do not pay close attention then I could miss something very marvellous. In the days before, many wonderful things were created by the Lord Jesus but they had no LIFE. This fifth day in the history of the heavens and the earth (natural realm) marks a turning point because of LIFE coming into the world.

Genesis 1:21 And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good.

Genesis 1:22 And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth.

Genesis 1:23 And the evening and the morning were the fifth day.

Remember, I cannot serve meat, only fruit and herbs with water.

Let the wonder-working Jesus fill you with good fruit such as love, joy and peace.
