What Hinders The Desire To Be Saved?

WHAT HINDERS THE DESIRE TO BE SAVED?
1 John 2:16 (NKJV)  For all that is in the world—the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life—is not of the Father but is of the world.
The World is full of things which blind people to the Truth.  They have chosen to believe a lie and live a life filled with misery and defeat.  In their arrogance they try to convince others of their folly and encouraging them to travel the same road to destruction.  Their god is of this world, they worship things of their own making.  They consider themselves wise in their own eyes and strive to feed upon their lust for power.  They desire to accumulate wealth, knowledge and possessions, thinking this will bring them happiness, but to no avail.
Romans 1:20-21 (NKJV) For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse, 21 because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Psalm 14:1 The fool has said in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, They have done abominable works, There is none who does good.
We all need to become broken before Almighty God and surrender ourselves to His will for our lives.  Otherwise we are trapped in a cycle of helplessness and confusion.
There has to be something better!  Jesus tells us in John 10:10 The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Continue to pray for all who have been blinded to the grace and mercy our loving and compassionate Heavenly Father offers to all who seek Him.  He gives them every opportunity to receive his love through the forgiveness offered them through the shed blood of His son Jesus Christ.
(Heavenly Father, I don’t claim to understand your marvelous plan for me.  I simply chose to make a decision to follow you and surrender to Your will for my life.  I believe Jesus Christ is Your son and receive Him as my Savior and Lord.  Forgive me for my sins and restore me to a right relationship with You.  I thank You for saving my soul and accepting me as Your child.)
Matthew 26:41 "Watch and pray"
