The word of the living God is clear about the fate of Israel and about the fate of Israel’s enemies.

The truth is not hidden but to those whose minds the god of this world has blinded it is hidden.

Look at this Psalm and see that God was speaking in ages past about His enemies.

Psalm 129

King James Version (KJV)

129 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say:

Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not prevailed against me.

The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows.

The Lord is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked.

Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion.

Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:

Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.

Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the Lord be upon you: we bless you in the name of the Lord.

The first verse is about the youthful Israel suffering at the hands of enemies. The second verse repeats the truth about Israel’s affliction since youth to emphasize it so that the hearers will have no doubt about it.

In the first verse Israel was told that he “MAY” say what the enemies did to him. The second verse is really a continuation of the first verse and went on to tell Israel to say, “YET THEY HAVE NOT PREVAILED AGAINST ME.”

So, you look at Israel today and you see that he has numerous enemies that hate him so much that they are readying themselves to destroy Israel totally. What awful hatred there is against the children of Prophet Jacob? Yes, those who are saying peace today will not be saying peace when the time is ripe for the last assault against Jacob. It will be the time of Jacob’s trouble.

In verse three the word shows the reason why Israel can say, “YET THEY HAVE NOT PREVAILED AGAINST ME.”, because the enemies of Israel made a big mistake. They plowed upon the back of Israel. That was not talking about a literal back part of the land of Israel. That was talking about the back of Israel’s Messiah. The Romans fulfilled that when they scourged Jesus, the son of David, of the tribe of Judah. They made long their FURROWS.

The lashes from the Italians of that time made such long and deep cuts in the back of the Messiah, Jesus that the description here of FURROWS makes it plain for you to see the extent of Israel’s sufferings.

How did you prevail oh, Jacob? How did you become strong and righteous to cut asunder the cords of the wicked? The answer (verse four) is not in your own righteousness oh, Israel. It is in the righteousness of your Lord: Your Messiah who took the lashes for you. He broke the cords of your sins. The cords of Satan, your enemy has been broken at the cross of Jesus. The victory has been made sure by the resurrection of YOUR MESSIAH. The FURROWS has been destroyed and only the markings of the scars are there as proof for you to behold.

Oh, Israel, see what the Lord, Jehovah (Jesus) will do to your enemies. The lot of those who hate you are shown in the rest of the Psalm. Was not this Psalm sent unto you? Yes, it was sent to you. Receive it and trust in the Lord with all of your heart and you will be delivered from the hands of ALL those who hate you.

The cords that still have to be broken will be broken. Let ALL the enemies of Jacob be CONFOUNDED. Let them be WITHERED GRASS. Let them be DIMINISHED.

Today I send the words that were sent to you to your enemies. So says the Lord Jehovah, “Let no man change what is written here or else he will have to answer to the great God, Jehovah.”

  1. Psalm 110:1

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

  1. Matthew 22:44

The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine enemies thy footstool?

  1. Luke 20:42

And David himself saith in the book of Psalms, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

  1. Acts 2:34

For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand,

Jesus, the Son of God, of the tribe of Judah is the everlasting High Priest who lives in heaven to make intercession for you, oh Israel. It was necessary for your God to bear your sins on the cross so that you may destroy your enemies.

God bless you, Abdool,

Yes, Israel is the love of God's heart and He will continue to bless her until the day Jesus completely frees her from all enemies. The enemies of Israel will never prevail.

In Christ joyfully,
