Another week already

Could it possibly be Sarurday ? Has another week just slipped off the calendar without even as much as a goodbye or a thanks or at least an acknowledgement that I played my part in making it happen! Sometimes the pace of life itself is breathtaking . This day last week myself and my brothers and sisters spent the day preparing my house for a gathering to celebrate mam and dads sixtieth wedding anniversary !! An astonishing and memorable achievement . They have lived together a life that brought many troubles a portion of pain a helping of sadness hurts and lost hopes BUT it also brought great blessing much joy incredible happiness incomparable security blessed assurance and abundant life and grace. ke Tempes Fugit Time flies . Life isn't always kind enough to bring a tomorrow and it certainly isn't generous enough to give us any inclination as to exactly how many tomorrows we have! So what have we? Well we have today we have now we have this moment . When all the nows are gone then its eternity! So how we spend now is important what we decide to day is important cos all the things that mam and dad now look back on were once the NOW! So here's a thing . I've discovered that most of the scriptures I read tell me that if I live in the now not taking thought for or worrying about tomorrow God has gifted me a thing called grace. It's like an unbelievable energy drink that says on the label works for this day only! But in gods great storehouse there is another portion for tomorrow !! You see time may well leave us and forsake us but Jesus never does . So go on enjoy today and make it count.....for eternity !
