                  HISTORY REPEATS ITSELF IN CYCLES

Slightly more than 100 years ago the global economy was rocked by one of the worst depressions that had ever happened. This depression was paralleled by one of the worst drought periods known to that time.

The famous dust bowl of the southwest occurred during that period and it seems that this same area maybe experiencing some of the same conditions now. It makes the scripture in 2Chronicles 7:14 more applicable than ever now.

The loss of crops is not the only problem, ranchers are being forced to market herds of cattle and sheep much earlier than need be because they can’t support the cost of the ranches. The herds in many cases are being sent to auction in many as young as yearlings.

What does this mean right now and one year from now? It will mean a shortage in foodstuffs and all related items from these crops as early as November of this year. Question? what happens if there is a small crop yield

In cotton? Maybe that illustrates even better what I am trying to say.

Just a little more than fifty years ago one of the more contentious political elections occurred between Kennedy and Nixon. The political exchanges were almost vile and disgusting as Nixon tried to portray the America’s becoming a Catholic state if Kennedy were elected.

I personally am praying daily concerning this election as it seems neither Romney nor Obama can tell the truth about anything. The citizens of this country deserve the truth .

If a people ever needed integrity and honesty in leadership it’s now because the candidate elected now will face an overwhelming task of leadership.

If ever there needed to be an intervention of the Holy Spirit it is now because unless the verse in Chronicles becomes alive we are in serious trouble as nation and the globe.

  Where does it begin I mean the help? We need to drop the rhetoric concerning God and get to know him personally on our knees. There needs to be a rejection of sin, dishonesty and deceit. They need to be replaced with the values of the word of God. We need to stop playing church and looking like the Pharisees and Sadducees  of  the Bible and start being 100%christian with all the goods of the Lord.

The Lord fed thousands with just a few loaves and fishes, and we are his hands and feet in the earth, ya reckun we might be able to do that if we were full of the Holy Spirit???

It’s at this point that all differences must be put aside and meet each other at an altar and seek the Lord for this period. IT’S TIME TO KNOW THE LORD ON A FIRST NAME BASIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
