Mary's Meanderings for March 22, 2012

First off I'd like to share an amazing link of an owl landing at an airplane manufacturing plant close to where I live.

Enjoy!  http://www.dogwork.com/owfo8/

This week has been filled with disappointment so far.  I had ordered a product I've not received and I can't contact the person I ordered it from.  Plus, my friend that is upset with me still has not responded to me.  So, I went in search of something in the Word to help comfort me...

Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

"Disappointment to a noble soul is what cold water is to burning metal; it strengthens, tempers, intensifies, but never destroys it."  Eliza Tabor

Powerful stuff.  My mother always used to tell me that God never gives us more than we can handle.  I truly believe that because as time has gone by I've never been dealt more than I could manage on my own and with Christ.  Thank heavens!  I'd be a mess right now otherwise.  God is the most loving person in my life.  I can't imagine being without Him.  I don't know how I ever survived without Him in the first place!  I would think it would be like being born and then left to fend for yourself.  Can you even imagine?

Anyway, it's still raining here.  I'll be back soon if I don't float away.  *Giggles*

Thanks for all of this Mary. The video is awesome. Few of us ever see an owl that close. I once had one sitting on a brance about twelve feet from my window, but never saw one flying so close like that, of course.

Regarding your week... you know that there are going to be weeks like that. Next week will be better... kind of like one week we have rain and the next sunshine. It is all for your perfection. Sharing it is cathartic. At the end of it, you are already giggling! Hugs to you, my sister! Blessings ~ Sarah

That's a really neat video, Mary. Those birds are majestic.

You survived without God in the beginning only through His mercy. He knew you would be born-again and used to encourage and bless others.

Thank you.
