Jesus Was Born In A Cave

6 "While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, 7 and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them." ~ Luke 2:6-7

“…the time came…” All the events leading up to this was no mere accident, but God’s timing. If Joseph and Mary arrived in Bethlehem earlier then Jesus wouldn’t have been born in a manger but at the inn. As it turned out, the prophecy was fulfilled

“As for you, O watchtower of the flock, O stronghold of the Daughter of Zion, the former dominion will be restored to you; kingship will come to the Daughter of Jerusalem." ~ Micha 4:8 A watchtower from ancient days guarded flocks of sheep.

( Some insight into where Jesus may had been born from )
This watch tower from ancient times was used by the shepherds for protection from their enemies and wild beasts. It was the place ewes were brought to give birth to the lambs. In this sheltered building/cave the priests would bring in the ewes which were about to lamb for protection. These special lambs came from a unique flock which were designated for sacrifice at the temple in Jerusalem.
