A Guaranteed Method to Succeed at Your Profession

“Commit your work to the Lord, and then your plans will succeed.” Proverbs 16:3 (New Living Translation)

How would you like to know the best way to succeed at your profession? Why not commit your work to Jesus?

You know when I was teaching; many times they would intentionally give me the worst classes. I never understood why until asking other teachers. It did not matter what school it was (usually after a six month contract it was time to move to another city. It was a great way to see the country) the answer was always the same. They would laugh and say something like” Because YOU can handle them. We cannot.” Indeed most classes
were so bad the teacher would walk out of the class after the third or fourth class.

Blessings can come in a number of ways. The Lord doesn't give you what you want, the Lord gives you what you need.—Eric Davis

Yes I can be stubborn and refuse to quit, but, you know why the students ended up loving and respecting their teacher?  Before each class I would say a prayer asking Jehovah to show His love to those children through me. There was always an opportunity to say something or do something to express love towards either one student or the whole class. These kids had never seen love in action before and would be confused as to why I did what I did. The reply was always the same: Because Jesus loves you and so do I.” After a month they would be the best behaved children in school. Indeed, because Jesus granted my request some of those children later gave their live
to Him.

“When you extend hospitality to Christian brothers and sisters, even when they are strangers, you make the faith visible”
(3 John 1:5 MSG).

I learned that life is not just a destination but a journey. While the expedition can be long and arduous, it can be full of beauty and
pleasure as well.
 Wayne Holmes

“Go and make disciples of all nations …”
Matthew 28:19

The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
2 Peter 3:9, New International Version

So if you want to succeed here is the best plan:  first dedicate it to Jesus, do it so His love come shining through like a soft warm sunbeam, and then put your
whole effort into it, while allowing Him to guide you. Finally, do not forget to say thank you to Jesus for answering your prayer.

We wait for the blessed hope of the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
 -- Titus 2:13

Let Him appear through your work.

Prayer: Jehovah Rabbi (God our Teacher) please guide my words and actions so that others may not only praise You but will become interested in joining our Holy family.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day.

Thank you

Teachers have one od the most difficult jobs there is. I just wish the parents would be more involved instead of dropping thier children off and expecting us to do their work for them ie teaching them love and respect

God bless you
