You Are Blessed to BE a BLESSING!

Today I found myself in the presence of many people from all walks of life.  I don't have a car, so I take the bus everywhere.  Today my travels took me to the local Goodwill.  I passed a man who reeked of liquor, who I am sure is probably very broken hearted and feeling defeated in his life.  A homeless girl came up to me and asked me for some change, which I gave her.  It seemed to me that she probably was struggling with drug or alcohol addiction.  And an older man in his 50's walked by me with two little girls.  He wanted to get on the bus, but he didn't have any money to pay for himself or his girls.  I gave him a bus pass and enough money for the girls, and I told him, "Jesus loves you."  You know what he said?  He said, " I hope so. I hope he does love me."  We live in a broken world, my brothers and sisters.  If God has blessed you, think about how YOU can be a blessing!  God is kingdom-minded.  His business is about saving the broken-hearted, the lost, the hurting, the wounded, the afflicted, the oppressed, and the prisoners!  There are a whole bunch of hurting people out there that need Our God.  My prayer is that you earnestly seek God about how you can love your brother, and be your brother's keeper, just like Christ loves you and sticks closer than a brother.  Peace and agape love to you all!  -Amenti

Wow!! God really used you today and you portrayed His love in all you did and said. I was thinking about when Paul and Silas went by the temple and the man was asking for alms and they told him, "Silver and gold have I none, but such as I have give I thee, in the name Lord Jesus Christ of Nazereth rise up and walk." He then took him by the hand and lifted him up and he went walking and leaping and praising God. (Acts 3:2-10) The greatest thing we can share with anyone is Christ and all He has for us, but then Jesus also said that "whatsover ye have done to the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me" along with times he talked the first and second commandments: Love God with all your heart and love your brother as you love yourself. You have given me a lot to think of today and I will be praying over how God will use me in the coming days. God bless you in all of you walks in life~~Debby
