"My Grace is sufficient for you..."

"My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness."  2 Corinthians 12:9 (NKJV)

Paul had a problem.  He said "Three different times I begged the Lord to take it away." (12:8 NLT)

Whatever it was, Paul wanted it gone.  He begged God to take it from him, yet God didn't, He just said

"My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness." (12:9 NLT)

What would you think or say if God said this to you while you were praying and praying for something to change?

Would you cry, get angry, give up, or would you accept God's answer say, as Paul said,

"Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me." (12:9 NKJV)

Something to think about....let me know your thoughts.

This scripture is an excellent example of sickness to the Glory of God. I never question someone's faith if they fail to be healed in spite of prayers and supplications. God's ways are not our ways and we don't always understand His purposes. May I always accept God's answer and receive His Grace.

Excellent scripture to meditate upon. Thanks!

You can only argue with God for so long - then He makes His point and the argument is over. HE WINS our only choisce is to chose ths day who we will serve! That was the choice Paul was faced with too. He knew his pride from seeing into Heaven needed to be put to death and that's he was asking for, but God would have to kill him, so Paul had to trust in His grace.
