Love Kissed a Rose
The Father sent the Rose of Sharon,
Into this world, and gently leaned over,
And kissed Him, with a royal crown, and
clothed Him, in righteousness, and yet chose
To lay aside His glory, for the world that lay
He came not to be ministered to, but to minister
To many, and humbled Himself, with love for any,
Who would accept this gift, the gift of His Son, the
Holy One, this Son of Glory.
Love kissed a rose, Who chose to die, for all mankind,
Love kissed a rose, Who died, but is living, and Alive,
We don't serve an idol, we don't live to worship man,
But the Creator of Life, to bring glory and honor to Him.
All of our praise, and adoration should go to Him,
He is the King of kings, and He truly reigns today,
Oh, yes, Love kissed a rose, Whose crimson blood,
Still flows, for the saving of our souls.
