Lay down your life, lay down your hopes, and dreams,
Lay them all, at the Master's feet, in laying them down,
It's saying, not my will, but Yours, the greatest gifts You
gave, are only, to point the way, to Your glory.
It's denying ourself, and increasing only You, the greatest
gift we can give, is magnifying the life, You lived, perfect
obedience, perfect love, can only come from a heart, touched
by the Master above.
So I come to You, Oh God, and I give all my hopes, and dreams,
No gold have I, to lay at Your feet, I bring praises to You, the
King of kings, one day I shall see, Your glorious face, Oh Lamb of
God, I give You my praise.
