About Me!

Hurricane George knocked down my family's pecan tree. The tree was 35" in diameter and I intended to cut it up for firewood. My friend Jackie Davidson, knew a man who wanted pecan for woodturning. The man cut up this tree and took some wood. One day he invited me to watch him make a wood bowl. One month later I bought a lathe and began taking lessons from renowned sculpting artist Adrian Turner of Ocean Springs, MS. I am very greatful for Adrian's patience, friendship and love for God.

I really enjoy cutting into a piece of wood and revealing the inner beauty designed by God. Natural designs found in wood are like fingerprints, as every log will produce unique patterns of lines and colors.
